Your Host, Mardie Caldwell…

Mardie Caldwell broadcasts from the beautiful Northern California Foothills. Adoption is close to her heart in many ways, and has become her life’s work. As a Certified Open Adoption Practitioner, Mardie is the Founder and CEO of Lifetime Adoption Center in California. Facilitating more than 120 adoptions each year, Lifetime has become one of the largest adoption centers in the country. Working nationwide, Lifetime’s caring staff supports each woman as they consider their pregnancy choices, while encouraging waiting adoptive families throughout their adoption journey. Mardie has designed an adoption program that is personalized for each individual that contacts her center, and provides around-the-clock availability for any birth parent considering adoption.

Mardie later founded Lifetime Adoption Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit adoption charity. Lifetime Foundation was established to assist birth mothers in fulfilling their dreams through providing college scholarships for women who have chosen adoption. It has grown to now include offering grants to assist with special needs adoptions and provide more assistance for birth mothers through a program called Birthmother Blessings.

Many people were first introduced to Mardie through one of her appearances in the media as an adoption expert. Most recently, she was featured on NBC’s The Today Show. She has made many media appearances on TV (including CNN, Fox, NBC, Dr. Laura), numerous national radio interviews, and is widely sought for print articles.

Mardie finds her role as an adoptive mother to be the most important. The path that led Mardie to her son more than 20 years ago is one that was life-changing, as she often shares through her own testimony.

From the Desk of Mardie Caldwell:

Many years ago my husband and I searched for a child to adopt. We didn’t know where or how to get started. Through research, determination, and prayer, our dream of a family became a reality.

I started with a plan, a notebook, assistance from a caring adoption consultant and a lot of hard work because this was my family I was building. We had a few heartaches along the way, but the pain of not having children was worse.

Within weeks we had three different birth mothers choose us. We were overwhelmed and delighted. Many unsettling events would take place before our adoption would be finalized. Little did I know that God was training and aligning me for the adoption work I now do.

It is my goal to share the methods and plans which will help families succeed in their adoption journey. I believe adoption should be affordable and can be a wonderful “pregnancy” for the adoptive couple.

It is my hope that for all prospective parents, your desire for a child will be fulfilled soon. It is my hope for our beloved birth mothers, that by placing your babies or children for adoption, the immeasurable amount of love for your child you have shown, will be returned to you over your lifetime again and again.

May God bless you,
